Actually there is not any specific reason why I have not rated stars for this restaurant. From entering to leaving the restaurant it has been exactly what you would expect from a restaurant in the best hotel located direct at lake Tegernsee. I guess...it's just the little icing on the cake missing for star rating. The staff is well educated and outspoken, the choice of dishes is limited but unique, the theme is out of the region and the quality fantastic. All courses are well presented and the size of the portions are good. The wine list offers all kinds of wines and you can chose good wines for decent prices and comes a bit as a positive surprise. We arrived for a Rez and got an ok table not window view, which were set for rather than That ought to be fixed. Food was well prepared, but the service was a bit slow for a Monday night. We saw...only waiters for the area. The service was attentive when it the staff was there. Upon leaving we saw that a person tour group had more writers than the dining room. A shame.

We stayed in the hotel and had dinner with the family in the evening. The food was nice but quite expensive. For the kids we had tomato soup from the children menu and one chicken nuggets. We asked for larger portions as they are big...eaters and we paid double the price. That is a bit heafty euro for chicken nuggets).

As part of the Althoff Seehotel Uberfahrt, this restaurant deliveres the same quality and service of the highest level as the hotel itself. Had a table with view on the lake, which is certainly an asset in summer period. Only one remark: the prize of...around € per person is pritty high. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent gourmet cusine at the Althoff Seehotel restaurant! All fresh baked bread, lovely selection of olive oil, and freshly prepared seasoned food....

Truly great service and presentation, but most of all wonderful Bavarian cuisine with a view of the lake, mountains, and chapel. Highly recommended.

Very very good restaurant! Very nice, friendly waitresses! Good vine menu. Truffle tagliatelle was enormously delicious! Réservez une table maintenant

Stick to the traditional fare and ask the waitress for her recommendations. The kitchen shuts around so get there early.

Very nice hotel.located on the lake. Friendly staff. Nice facilities and good service. I strongly recommend this hotel.
