Egg I has a typical cafeteria/diner atmosphere, but unfortunately, the hostess and owner were the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. Although I told them there were three of us, they only seated two of us and insisted we wait for the third before being seated. When I explained that the third person was on their way, they told me that if I didn’t like their policy, I should find another place to eat. That response was completely unacceptable, and I certainly will not be returning. The only reason I gave Egg I two stars is because our older waiter was very kind. The menu offered standard dishes, but given the price, it just wasn’t worth it.
I didn’t take any photos of the food because it was simply too delicious to put down. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner, enhanced by excellent service and delightful decor. The seating and tables were perfectly comfortable, and our meals arrived promptly with attentive check-ins from the staff. The restaurant was lively, filled with happy diners all around. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We also loved having breakfast there every three days and truly cherished every moment of the experience.
This delightful classic breakfast spot is conveniently located near the city. The pancakes are wonderfully fluffy and delicious, while the sides are cooked to perfection. The cookies are incredibly soft and light! What really stood out was the cheerful and friendly staff. We arrived during peak hours and only had to wait 10 minutes as a party of three before being promptly seated. This is undoubtedly the best classic breakfast place in Ogunquit!
This was my first breakfast in Ogunquit since moving here, and I highly recommend the banana nut pancakes. If you’re fortunate, you might be seated in Mike's section; he’s one of the friendliest servers I’ve ever encountered! Update: I returned with my husband and sampled the fruit cup, iced coffee, and coconut French toast, and everything was fantastic! Réservez une table maintenant
I dined at this restaurant a few years back and had the chance to stay directly across the street during a recent family trip. We had a group of five adults and four children, and we were seated promptly. It didn't take long for us to order drinks and then our meals. The food arrived quickly and was very delicious! I would certainly go back.
We were in Wells for our mini-honeymoon and went here for breakfast on Tuesday. The wait was about 20-30 minutes but we’ll worth the wait! We ordered coffee, a blueberry muffin that was warmed on the grill with blueberry butter, Lobster Benedict and an Irish Benny. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly! We will be back!
We waited around 20 minutes when we visited this restaurant, and the food was incredibly delicious! Just a heads up that they only accept cash. The service was fast, and the coffee was excellent. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend the lobster Benedict!
