Updated 16.05.24 Booked a table for two on a Wednesday night at 5.30pm. We were late by 20mins. There is no telephone number on the website to call ahead to let them know. We did not receive a booking confirmation so we also did not have that option to try and rebook or cancel. On our arrival the member of staff that greeted us was rude and abrupt. We were told our table was held for 15 mins so we had lost our booking, by 5 mins. This would have been acceptable if the restaurant was full it was not. Having spent the last 2 years eating at this restaurant this is my first review. While house hunting in the local area we started visiting this restaurant and loving it so much we wanted this to be our local. The welcome that we have received over the past years from your head hospitality team has been amazing and are made to feel like friends when we arrive. I have to mention in particular Saeed who is a wonderful human being and could not do enough for your customers while dining. I hope you realise what an exceptional manager he is and the 5 star hospitality experience he gives. Thank you Ego
The food side was rammed, which speaks for itself and may contradict what i say next... We found the atmosphere quite stiff. Our order was checked and our drinks order taken, but everything seemed rushed, apart from getting our drinks, which were left on the side for a good while and we had to ask again for them. There were no check backs, just whipped our empty glasses away and said anymore? . We didnt feel very looked after during our visit. This wont stop us from visiting again, just maybe at a less busy time so the staff can slow down a bit and take time with their customers.
Went for dinner yesterday. I'm absolutely disappointed in the food. The lemon chicken was absolutely dry. I couldn't even chew it! No flavour too...just like a cardboard. The starter we have ordered chorizo sausages...the presentation looked awful. The total bill came to over 100 quid. Waste of money. Wouldn't back. Réservez une table maintenant
My Pizza was tasty. My friends spaghetti carbonnara was tastless with only a little runny sauce in the bowl. I note previous similar comments. You are not learning from these reviews. I don't think I have ever paid £3 for a tea bag before! Don't think I will bother again.
