first of all, tripadvisor should note that the owners and operators of the restaurants have changed!Since approx. 2 years the family sudy from the Stiermark (Austria) leads the inn.In the last 14 days we stayed 2 times there for dinner.The best value for money in the whole East-Westphalia-Lippe!Even a route of approx. 20 km worth it.All fresh- all home-made-all with creativity, ideas and cooking.Good bourgeois-but really perfect!The beer is probably the best-kept of the herford brewery.In the beginning there is free, something so delicious that you prefer to eat with it.

the ickumer farmhouse is an old-eating restaurant in the hearty city part ickum, and other border to Bielefeld.After a few years ago a pächter that is locally taken over and failed with his laby and bad eating, the family sudy the ickumer landhaus has been leading for a long time and leads it back to old splendour. what you want more.Wednesday is always carving day, also highly recommended. However, a reservation is recommended here. We have held some family celebrations here.Always the guests were thrilled.Superclass.

after the good reviews, I reserved one table. because this was right next to the kitchen outlet, we moved. food was pervaded and not just abundant and partly overpriced. the most disturbing were the plastic dirndel and the German schlagermusik in the background.
