Eileen's Colossal Cookies

The cookies are delicious and the cookie cakes are my kids favorite, but be very cautious if custom ordering anything on the phone. Last fall I placed an order for 2 cookie cakes. When I arrived to get them, the customizing was mixed up on the cookies. I took it as a mistake and conceded I could have played a part by posdibly not being clear enough. Fast forward to this summer (2023) and my 10 year old wants a cookie cake for his party. In knowing my prior experience I have the gal on the phone go back over the entire order with me (not a complicated cookie) I emphasize fully frosted as this was an important part of the order for him. When I went to pick up the cookie cake, it was done wrong...

I have had their cookies from Hy-vee and have been great. (They were a different brand at Hyvee not Eileen’s I was wrong.)Tried the store today, yes 100% was this store. Not sure if I got a few day old cookies, but they were just ok, at best, and broke easily (not in a good way). If they were old they were not advertised as that. People were nice though.

Our daughter and son-in-law had Eileen make beautiful, tasty white, sparkly cookies for part of their wedding desserts. LOTS of compliments. We are enjoying the left-overs in the freezer...YUM!
