I wanted to love this Eiscafe due to the excellent location with tables right on the Theaterplatz, but I found it merely mediocre. The selection of gelato is quite large, however in comparison to many other gelaterias Venezia's offerings seemed almost more icy' than creamy...and the flavours not so bold. The Waffeln on the other hand are quite good, so perhaps combining one with a good ice cream is the key! All things considered, there are many more Eiscafes in the area, so better to hold off and go elsewhere.
This ice coffee is the best you can get. It is always great to see a group of Italians after the bar singing and preparing art not simply ice creams. The ice coffee has a full view on the main pedestrian road were cultural activities...often take place. Really good ice creams, good cakes, good coffee and very good service.
You can choose to dine in or take away the amazing gelato from this place (they also serve other foods and drinks as well). We mostly opt for taking ours as we walk through the old town of Weimar. Prices are good and it tastes...amazing. I particularly recommend the dark chocolate.

it is quite possible to ruin a omelett and a vegetarian ciabatta! omelett was watery with mushroom preserves and sweated slices cheap cheese top. ciabatta was ... well, not ciabatta. paired with unripe tomaten and without mozzarella, but with the same cheap cheese

This Eiscafe has a very good range of ice cream flavours and service is fast. You can relax as you eat it under parasols on the Theaterplatz and watch the world go by
great location in the heart of weimar and the ice cream are very good. the service at busy days is somewhat slow, but in order. overall beautiful place

Very good ice-cream store, very popular amongst everyone- especially because of location. Very nice staff and great to sit outside
it is located in the heart of city, beside the theater and has a very nice ice cream which you can try it in winter and summer
