My mother grew up in Villingen and already went to this place 50 years ago. The style of the furniture might be a bit outdated and you won't get crazy flavors like dark chocolate with chili here, yet the ice cream is always very good. I find the selection of different ice cream cups overwhelming – each time I go there it takes me ages to choose what I want. ;-) Today I had a kids size Spagetti pesto ice cream cup (pistachio ice cream) and absolutely loved it. They also serve cake and have nice coffee and cake deals which come handy in winter when one might not feel like having an ice cream. :-)
I know this place since the early 90's.The huge selection of like homemade 30+ choices of ice cream and the friendly staff keep coming me back time after time.The quality is as good als ever since my first visit due to the fact that this business is family owned.In summer you can sit outside and watch the people walking by.Zampolli is located just 50 Meters behind Riettor, the tower with the blue watch.Parking spots are nearby in front of Riettor or in the evening inside the "Rathaus" town hall area parking lot.Zampolli is closed from mid November until mid February.

I love ice cream especially in Europe with amazing flavours but this was something special. A massive menu of different sundaes and brill 'spaghetti' ice cream. Not cheap at around €6 per dessert but of course you could just get a takeaway scoop or two!! Loads of outdoor seats on Villingen main shopping street... Great place to while-away an hour in the sunshine!

I love the German tradition of Ice cream cafes, something we don't have in the UK. Open all day every day serving coffee snacks and most importantly Ice Cream.Nice outdoor seating area on the wide pedestrian street and plenty of seats inside, Nice menu of ice cream sundaes and take out, love the variety of flavours and combinations in lovely surroundings.
I come to Zampolli for ice cream every time I am in Villingen. They have a good selection of ice cream flavors and sundaes. On a nice sunny day sitting outside, enjoying the sun, eating ice cream and people watching is very relaxing. Of course, Zampolli's ice cream is always good and that is given.

We always make due yo stop at Zampolli when we are in Viliingen - their ice cream is home made and delicious. The ice cream cups they serve are elaborate and full of fresh fruit . The location in the historic old town center is gorgeous and wonderful to sit outside.

very good ice cream to come in Germany. the quality is good. it seems that there is not so much milk in and also a certain amount of water crises. the price is high, but is common for Germany. the ice cream can be recommended.
I have enjoyed refreshing vanilla/berries ice cream cup and free internet on a hot summer day. The price is also very moderate for what you get. Everything was great!
