Bird Box 10/10. Steamed buns are a better experience but overpriced for the amount of chicken you get so I'd say get one on the side just for the experience and get the boxes after. Pork option is very good, catfish was cold since I waited a while but it was also nice. tempura broccoli and red beans w/rice sides are both good. Lamb was good but also lamb is always oily so expect that. Meatballs were fantastic. I say if you get the bird box its definitely worth it since its 2 massive cutlets over a ton of rice. Also ask for some of the spicy sambal mayo on the side since its perfect to dress/dip anything in.

I recently visited Ekiben in Hampden and tried the Vegetarian Tofu Bens with broccoli. The flavors were so delicious, with a filling, crispy, and fresh taste that I can't quite describe. The location only offers carryout and is located on the street behind the 36. I parked on the street to pick up my order, but there is also free parking directly opposite the entrance. The staff was friendly, playing music and providing great customer service even behind their masks. I highly recommend this place, especially since it is partly black-owned. You have to try it for yourself!

I have no idea how you do it but the food is so consistent and delicious. The buns are always fluffy and light, chicken/ fish/ tofu/ beef (you name it) is always cooked perfectly. Literally never had anything undercooked or overcooked. You’ll never get anything dry from this place. The staff are great, food is spectacular. Everyone should give it a try! Great blend of spices that’s delightful. I’m pretty sure I’ve had everything on the menu at this point in my life. Neighborhood bird is hands down the favorite.

we went there as recommended by a friend. it was a great experience from beginning to end. as soon as they go in the door, they are greeted by anime poster by drachenball z and naruto. eating is excellent if they are not sure what they only ask the people there, they will be happy to help them. we had the neighborhood chicken in the bungalow and the basket. it was really delicious. in short, if they are in the opposite and an anime fan plus hungry they must check themselves ekiben. It was really hard to find at night so that was stressful but the food was pretty good. Definitely not a fan of the cheesesteak egg roll especially for the price. That was pretty nasty to be honest but the catfish sandwich was soooo good. My girlfriends tofu sandwich was also fire. Stick to the classics and you’re golden

Neighborhood bird bun is the bomb. Love love love it. I rarely get chicken, but was just so good.Broccoli fried snack was so good. Just right amount of sauce and everything was just so right. Love this place so much. Only downside is that it is hard to find as it is located in the back alley. Love splurging here.

I mean, come on, it's ekiben. it is absolutely phenomenal. best Asian fusion I've ever had, and some of the best food in general I've ever had. a local favorite. was more than I can count. tofu brah bowling and spicy neighboring vogel are my favorites.

Awesome concept and awesome service. The chicken was nice and crispy and the bun was very fluffy. Flavorful. Very kind cashier. The yuzu-ade was really unique and fun too. Definitely will come back to try more Réservez une table maintenant

I wish we had tried to eat it before a lonely, that was so delicious! one of the best restaurants we have found so far! portions are large enough to make two meals from one order, we will definitely be back!

Amazing food! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I love all the fresh pickles and when you mix everything together it’s a flavor sensation. Regular happy customer!
