Ekta - Réservation de table

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant; I particularly love the biryani! One minor suggestion: they should make it clear that even dishes marked as non-spicy can still be spicy. One person in our group had difficulty enjoying their meal because it was too spicy. I personally enjoy spicy food and ordered the chicken kadai, which was very spicy but delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is excellent. We dined in for dinner and spent between $20-$30 per person. I would give the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the biryani here.

I was eager to check out this restaurant! My wife and I found everything to be delicious and loved the interior aesthetic of the restaurant. We were also pleasantly surprised by the prices on the menu. We ended up spending a bit less than we usually do at Indian restaurants, but the food was still excellent. We are already planning on returning and would recommend this place to anyone looking to try Indian cuisine for the first time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The okra in the bindi masala was tough and stringy, almost like wood. It was inedible. The chef should have noticed and sliced it up better. The sauce was so concentrated it tasted like wet charcoal. I initially thought the waiter did not charge me for this entree, but later realized I was charged half. This was unacceptable. Overall, for dinner, the price per person was $20–30. The food received a rating of 2, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3.

I politely asked the guy, “how come your price is different than what it shows on google”. He rudely replied and that’s okay. Moving forward, I request if you can make my biryani a bit spicy and he said okay. I am right now having biryani, they just added red chillies but there is not taste and no salt. Worst service, rude manager and bad taste and overpriced. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Réservez une table maintenant

The food at this restaurant is incredible! We tried the mango shrimp and it was delicious. The waiter was so friendly and made sure to keep our water glasses full. He was very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere inside was clean and serene. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

The food was just okay. Personally, I think Tiffin is better and less expensive. However, the atmosphere and decor is more upscale here. Would I come back? Maybe, but not in a rush to do so. Also, our samosas were served deep friend but completely cold inside. Frozen? Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We have tried Ekta several times over the span of 6 months, but have been consistently disappointed (especially since we loved their location in the city). After receiving bad food today, we are finally giving up on this restaurant.

Oh my god, this is hands down the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Make sure to try the Mangoli Paneer - you won't regret it. I visit this restaurant or order from here at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Ekta is the place to go for Indian cuisine in Bryn Mawr. The service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend checking it out.
