El Agave Mexican Cuisine

I wish 4.5 was an option on ratings. This place is a total small hole in the wall with a cool vibe and decor. They don't have a lot of tables but they were able to accommodate our group of 8 without much of an issue, it was a Thursday but they were also pretty full (always a good sign). The food is very good, some dishes better than others but really very good. I'm also particular about mole sauce, seems to be a telltale of a quality restaurant and their mole is really good. I ordered it on the side of my burrito and poured it over top. This is a great place for dinner, they do BYOB, and the prices are good. We've been twice and will go again.

OMG. We finally found our go to spot for Mexican! Weve tried several other places and the food was either nasty to begin with or just didnt travel well. Everything we ordered tonight was fresh, delicious, and seasoned beautifully. From rice and beans to the Burrito Cancun, 6. Chimichanga with Chicken, and the best guacamole Ive ever had. Cant wait to get hungry again to hit up the leftovers!

Orderd a Burrito Traditional with chicken, a Chimichanga Traditional with chicken and Burrito Agave with chicken instead of shrimp. Also ordered Chicken Finger and Mozzarella Stix (5) and Mexican Flan. All 3 dishes and the flan were to die for. The stix and fingers were your traditional fare but also very good. 10/10 will order here agai.

First time trying this place, went out with family. With so many places to eat in boro it’s easy to overlook but this place had great food, great light background music, and fast charming service. Serving sizes were perfect, the chimichanga was bangin, no wallet pain either. Will definitely eat here Réservez une table maintenant

The 6. Chimichanga came with three tiny pieces of chicken and a mountain of cheese, and the 3. Mini Quesadilla (cheese) came filled with chicken and almost no cheese. The 6. Chimichanga and 3. Mini Quesadilla arrived hot and the rice and beans were cold. Disappointing.

Smallest portion I ever have in my life. The pork taste greasy and bad, the meat is very little.steak is okay . Rice is bad. I wouldnt pay $30 for this. Other place only sell for $25 and feed two adult.

The tacos were well seasoned and juicy and exactly like the picture!! Soooo good and that salsa verde is amazing! 10/10 recommend, I cant wait to try more items !!

This place is great! Whoever gives this a 1 star must think Taco Bell is authentic Mexican. Hidden gem for sure! Réservez une table maintenant
