I recently stopped by this restaurant for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Despite its small size, the food was delicious and authentic. The cabeza tacos brought back memories of my dad's backyard pit cooking from my childhood. The chips were thick and warm, and the salsa was good, but we asked for something spicier and it did not disappoint. The shredded beef taco was crispy, filled with tasty beef, and served hot. If you're in the area and craving hot, yummy, and authentic Mexican food, this place is a must-visit! I had the carne asada tacos from this place and they were pretty good. today I had the 3hun tacos and they were a letdown; huh was dry and insipid how was cooked not sauteed along with the bubbles and swirl, which would have a few taste in them. I removed that huh and only vegetarian tacos. not even the hot sauce they put on them could save the meat. here is the kicking tacos. their aguas frescas (fresh waters) are not fresh; they are sirup based. I ordered the tamarindo and it tasted like a warm warm warm watered sirup. it was pretty bad. this place that is used to offer high quality food. dunno, what happened. but it is disappointing.
I live in Texas and this is the first place I stop at when I arrive. The food here is incredibly delicious – the best Mexican food I have found in the area. You must try it, you won't regret it. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice. I recommend trying dishes such as Chips and Salsa, Chile Verde Burrito, Nachos, Al Pastor Taco, Steak, Rice and Beans, Wet Burrito, and Burrito. The price per person is $10-20 for a lunch meal. 5/5 for both food and service, and 3/5 for atmosphere.
