El Azafran - Réservation de table

The location of El Azafrán on TripAdvisor/Google maps is incorrect. It´s much further north in Caminreal (km 176) at the cross-roads of the A23 (Zaragoza-Teruel-Valencia) and the N211 (Madrid-Alcolea-Alcañiz). We make the trip regularly from Madrid to the Bajo Aragón, so we know it well. It´s a motorway hotel restaurant with a local touch in the middle of a massive agriculural plain, the Aragonese equivalent of the Mid-West. Apart from eating in the always busy restaurant as described by the previous reviewer, you can also order substantial snacks and sandwiches at the bar. My Spanish nephew strongly recommends the 'plato combinado ', amazing value at 6 euros. It 's the Aragonese equivalent...

Near the junction of A23 N420. Luckily, being a Sunday, we arrived soon after 12; but 2pm the place was full with people still arriving who hadn 't booked. For €10.50, three courses plus bread and wine. The bottle of red plonked on your table isn 't plonk, it 's their own-label wine. The rose was equally good. Drink what you like, the price is the same. Everything is in Spanish and little English spoken, but they 're friendly and cheerful and will do their best to help. My starter 'bean soup with etc ' was a really excellent Spanish equivalent of Cassoulet and only greed got me through the lamb and the desert. The lamb is Spanish so not the wisest choice.

Este restaurante fue una sorpresa muy agradable con la que nos topamos por casualidad. La comida era increíble, el tagine de pollo y el cuscús se prepararon y presentaron en un tagine real y estaban absolutamente llenos de sabor. Este restaurante definitivamente debería estar en tu lista si quieres comer platos marroquíes muy sabrosos o simplemente quieres algo diferente a las tapas cuando estés en Málaga. ¡Definitivamente lo recomendaría!

Esta fue mi primera introducción a la cocina maracaná. Y nos gustó todo. El establecimiento es muy auténtico. El ambiente, la comida, la música, la presentación: todo transmite cultura. La chica que nos atendió fue muy atenta y agradable. Es cierto que mezcló la guarnición, pero la perdonamos, ya que todo lo demás estuvo maravilloso. La música es baja y la comunicación es muy conveniente. Recomiendo visitar. Réservez une table maintenant

genial tener un restaurante marroquí tan conveniente la gente que trabaja allí es muy agradable... puede que no sea LA MEJOR comida del planeta... pero sin duda es BUENA, ¡y las porciones para llevar son GIGANTES! los precios son EXCELENTES!!!!! TE LO RECOMIENDO MUCHO

Muy buena comida. No puedo decir si era auténtico, pero estaba muy sabroso. Mucho y de precio razonable. No hubo nada malo con el servicio. El ambiente es absolutamente bueno, pero aún se puede mejorar.

Personal muy amable y comida exquisita. Recomiendo probar los briwat de queso, tienen un sabor exquisito. Cuscús y tayins con muy buen sabor. Réservez une table maintenant

Deliciosas berenjenas con salsa de tomate y carne picada. Los demás platos estaban bien, nada especial.
