I have lived in Chapel A for 7 years and used to frequent this restaurant often. I was eager to bring my partner, who recently moved in with me, to experience the charm I remembered. Unfortunately, the visit did not meet my expectations. I am writing this review as honest feedback for the owners, not as a complaint. In the past, the restaurant had a wonderful ambiance with cozy candlelit tables and delicious home-cooked meals. However, it seems that the food is no longer prepared in a homemade style. The restaurant was average overall, with quick and efficient service. However, when ordering, we were told we had chosen too many dishes and were asked to remove some from our order. Despite explaining that we wanted variety for a young child, we were told once again to reduce our order, which I found odd. I have never experienced this at any other restaurant, including tapas establishments. The food was mediocre, with one chicken dish being overcooked. The atmosphere was also strange, with unfriendly looks from other diners. I left feeling hungry and slightly disappointed, and would not recommend or return to this restaurant.
The food and service at this restaurant were absolutely amazing. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. A special thank you to Sean for taking great care of us.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff, who are all Spanish, add to the great experience. It's like having a piece of Spain right here. Please never change that.
