I'm from Miami and moving soon to Colorado so I had to check out the Cuban food at El Bohio. First, everything was made fresh to order including the ham croquettes and empanadas. The Cuban sandwich was great, bread was great. The empanada shell was excellent, the ground beef filling was an 8/10 because it wasn't quite as flavorful as I'm used to, it was hot and delicious nevertheless. The croquettes were good, the ham filling was great, they were a bit smaller in size than I'm used to. The sweet plantains (maduros) were excellent. The Cuban coffee was a bit disappointing, it wasn't as strong as it should be and there was no spuma (foam), still good but I'll give it a 5/10. The rice and beans...
Without a doubt, this is the best Cuban cuisine around! Don't overlook this gem—I urge you! Dining here is an absolute delight, but what truly sets it apart is the amazing atmosphere. The customer service is exceptional and is a huge part of what makes this place so special! Be sure to try their filled yuca, the Cuban sandwich, and the flan. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu; everything is simply delicious!
This is the best Cubano I have found in the Denver Metro area. I have been looking for a good Cubano sandwich place since the movie Chef came out in 2014. The food was in my opinion authentic and delicious, and the place was really clean. The decor/ambience is at best strip mall chic or old Subway I will definitely be back for the food, but don't expect candles and tableclothes.
I live in the neighborhood and try to eat here often. The staff is super friendly and fast, and the food is incredible. The Cuban sandwich is as authentic as it gets and the pulled pork is out of this world. Other dishes are just as good along with the rice and other sides they offer. If you haven’t had Cuban food, please go try it here it will set your bar high!

Moved from south Florida to Lakewood and was so excited to find a delicious Cuban place! This is our go-to for Cuban food and we always get the beef empanadas, Cuban sandwich, and sweet plantains. I usually order extra empanadas so I can eat them for breakfast the next day. I just wish the opened earlier so I can get a Cuban coffee on the way to work.

One of my favorite restaurants, El Bohio serves some of the best Cuban food I’ve ever had. The sandwiches are incredible, and I love pairing them with a refreshing Jupiña pineapple soda and some perfectly crispy fries. They are also very accommodating when it comes to allergies. I highly recommend El Bohio!
Great food!!! The seasoning is very authentic. My husband and I both ordered the Ropa Vieja with tostones congri. We also had a mamey shake and it was delicious. The staff super friendly and attentive.

This is the best Cuban food I’ve had outside of Miami….honestly even better then a lot of places in Miami. I highly recommend!! The lady was super nice too!! Can’t wait to go back.
