We did the pre fixe meal at El Born and selected an option of tapas with paella. We did ask if half of the tapas could be vegetarian, since we had one in the party and it's great that they were open to honoring that request. However, after the selection that we got, I wish we just chose the tapas that we wanted. Most of the vegetable dishes we were given had slices of jamon on top or some kind of meat element so all but 2 (pica pica/tomato on bread and veg paella) weren't completely vegetarian-friendly for my friend. The food was tasty (as someone who ate all the dishes), but came out in rounds that were oddly spaced â some dishes came crammed one after another before we barely started eat...
My husband and I went for the Tuesday deal on tapas (unlimited small plates until 9pm from a specific selection), the place was buzzing, absolutely great vibes. The salty peppers were phenomenal, as well as the patata bravas and little anchovy bruschetta. The let down was the paella, way too much squid ink, it was so overpowering that we could barely taste anything else. Plus both the rice and the fish were really overcooked and chewy and overall not that much flavorful. Drinks weren’t good either, too sweet, and not spicy at all (they were supposed to be). A delicious taste of Barcelona in Williamsburg. The authenticity of Barcelona infused our meal here. We ordered the Chef's Menu and this chef was so generous. Plate after plate of tapas came pouring forth from the kitchen. Each one so delicious. And by the time I felt like there was too much food then showed up the big pan of paella. Every mouthful, every taste was so good. The service was friendly and prompt. The dining hall is narrow and very long with an awesome garden in the back. Every seat was taken and with good reason. Very fair price, especially for this virtual trip to Barcelona.

Many tapas are vegan and many more can be made vegan. the personal is almost all Spanish. they are very friendly, warm, hospitable and were very eager to help us have a great vegan meal. they were very thorough to ensure that only vegan ingredients are used. they created a prix fixe menu for us to share the 6 delicious creative vegan tapas and a huge delicious paella for 2.

Bottomless was a great deal! The croquetas were very tasty and they kept the drinks flowing. Will definitely be back!
