Heard so many good reports about this place so decided to visit. Great food but the service lets it down. Table booked for 2pm, at 2.15 I had to get up and ask for menus then once again had to ask if we could order. The starters arrived and they were lovely then waited a while for them to be cleared, we then asked for more drinks but they never arrived !! The main course then arrived and once again was lovely, nice and hot and well presented. No one checked if everything was ok.Once finished we sat there again for a while, no one cleared our plates or even bothered to ask if we would like a dessert or coffees. We got up and paid at the bar leaving the plates on the table. I would understand...
We celebrated my wifes birthday here and it was beautiful. I could not have asked for more. We had two big tables for 15 people and had a 6 course tapas mix with drinks per person, for both excelent price and value. Service was top notch, bathrooms clean. The chef makes the best grilled burgers ive tasted in years. And they also made the cake! Really recommend booking for a birthday dinner with the 6 course tapas, it was really nice having the orders done beforehand so you dont have to think about ordering during the party and just relax. Overall a super nice place to spend an evening. 10/10.
Visited here twice last week while on a family holiday and we are so glad we did. We were sick of eating **** food in other places and following previous reviews on trip advisor we decided to try El Bruno. Great selection on the menu, everyone liked their meals and baked spuds were delicious. (I brought in my own Kerrygold) it was seen on the table and a joke and laugh was had. Owner/staff very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely come back here and if you are visiting Mijas you have to try this place!
Visited this restaurant for the first time tonight as it is a family favourite, didn’t disappoint! Brilliant variety on the menu, portion sizes are big, food tastes fresh, prices are very good value for money, staff are lovely. Nice garden area setting. Would go every night if it was closer to where we were staying but didn’t have a problem finding parking on the street.

Could not fault the place in an way shape or foom Food was of the highest standard and the staff were second to non As for the price more than fare for the meal you get They made our Christmas and would go back again without a second thought We went again in the week and am glad to say it was not a one off again great keep it up Ray doing a great job
We went for a group meal for Christmas, everything was excellent, the food was superb quality, the service great, fitted to our requirements. The staff were friendly and always on hand if you needed them. We will definitely use this again.
First time in this restaurant absolute good we had the menu , good value for money at the end we ordered an Irish coffee , made how it has to be , absolute top place to come back.
Yet another amazing time with Ray and his family. Food was outstanding. Drinks fresh. Atmosphere brilliant Will always come back

Tucked away but worth the effort to find it appears to be a family run business of over 30 years. The host was very generous
Amazing service, food cocktails, would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.
