Server was sweet but had a hard time understanding English which made questions difficult. My husband ordered the Tropical fajitas which she explained had chicken, vegetables and pineapple. Just what was needed on a cold night downtown. They're open late, and they have great service and delicious food. My server was Jeremiah. He was so friendly and welcoming. You could see he must truly love people and want to make them feel at home. I sawhim wish a happy birthday to two different customers, making sure they felt special on their big day. This location is verybright and festive, with luchadores and comic figures painted on the walls, and eclectic decor throughout. DELICIOUS! ???? We arrived while the restaurant was being hit with a rush of people from a convention, but were seated within 10 minutes. Servers brought us chips and salsa and water right away, without us asking. My pineapple and mango margarita was wellmade ???? Our food arrived quickly and was hot and tasted SO GOOD! (we had previously eaten at a cantina further down Washingtondays prior and found that food to be very bland). I ordered the beef enchiladas. We saw sopapillas on the menu and asked to getthem with our check (we never have eaten these before and they sound DELICIOUS), sadly they were out. Our table and chairs werea little rocky and it was very warm inside the building.
Despite the vibrant decor and energetic atmosphere upon entering, the dining experience quickly took a turn for the worse. The service was subpar, with the staff barely attending to our table and neglecting to refill our drinks or chips. The food itself was lackluster, with stale chips, cold queso, unappetizing salsa, and bland rice. The restroom was equally disappointing, with a broken toilet, a can of soiled toilet paper with a plea not to flush, a malfunctioning sink that sprayed water, and a perpetually clogged, damp stack of paper towels. Overall, this restaurant fell far short of expectations.

Very unremarkable. Pay attention! They out 18% gratuity on your bill automatically (even for two people) then give a receipt to sign that’s asks you to add more! The house margaritas are horrible, hopefully the “premium” ones are better. The food is very bland and meh. If you’re used to good Mexican food, don’t go here. The disposable dinner-ware was unexpected and became deformed immediately. Is it really that hard to wash dishes? It creates a much better experience for the customer and saves on plastic.
We stopped because it was after 10 and we needed something to eat that was still open. Food was okay. Just something to get the job done. Enchiladas, basic white girl. I could probably do better myself. We got the enchiladas Mexicanos. The nachos werebetter in my opinion. But not great either. The drinks were strong! Definitely felt the party vibes though. It was a pretty coolatmosphere, but service took quite a while to get other than the chips and salsa.
So the food was really good. Unfortunately, the air is broken and it was 90 degrees on the day went so just prepare yourselves.Also, this may not be an issue for some guests but I find it unprofessional. Several servers were just on their phones even sitting together at a table. Its a little unsettling, especially if you are waiting on your drink and your server is hanging out with their friends.
The bartender was fantastic, but unfortunately, the fajitas were disappointing. The peppers were soggy and pre-cooked, and the white chicken slices lacked flavor. To make matters worse, the dish was served with a plastic fork that melted on the skillet since they didn't have real silverware. I found this odd and will make sure to steer clear of this restaurant in the future.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. When I arrived, I saw the server place my food on a lower counter behind the bar. I waited for over 10 minutes before he finally presented me with my order. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect and contained shellfish, which I cannot eat. I am unlikely to return or recommend this restaurant.
Fast and friendly service we best the rush and we're seated right away! The ambiance is upbeat and fun as well. We all enjoyed our meals I ordered the pick two tacos with carnitas and chorizo and they were delicious! I will certainly be coming back for more tacos!
