Exceptional food, elegant interior and excellent service. Missed dining here the night before as search Google Maps directed us to another location. It 's tucked away in a quiet corner of this ski village. The food was exceptional and a welcome alternative to the ubiquitous offerings found in the local establishments. An amuse bouche of cheese foam and artichoke fritter helped to set the tone for the evening ahead. For starters we opted for 68 degree eggs with a carbonara foam, ham and truffle and Thai shrimp soup with shiitaki mushroons, lime, carrot and mange tout. Both dishes were truly sublime. Great place if you want to have a very nice, tasteful dinner. The staff is super super friendly. The place is really cozy and small. The food is AMAZING we loved the tuna and the shrimp. We got “el malvar ” wine recommended by the staff and it was great! The service couldn’t have been better. The thing a like the least it was the chickpeas dish, it was delicious but a bit too heavy for a dinner, it would be a great dish for lunch time. Absolutely love the place and the experience. I’ll visit the place next time.

Best dinner I had during my stay at Sierra Nevada by far. Not the cheapest but worth every cent. The food was amazing and the staff os super friendly. The restaurant is explored by a couple where she is the chef and he is serving the food along with it's explanation. This family environment makes you feel that you are invited to their home to have a fine dinner with them. Whenever I come back to Sierra Nevada, Vivac will be a mandatory stop, for sure.

The menu is split into two “tasting menu” style meals where the entire table must order one or the other. The menu we had was absolutely amazing and unlike anything else in Sierra Nevada. Staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The staff are also fluent in English and can provide recommendations based on your preferences. Top class experience overall.
They had told us about this site and the truth is that it has completely exceeded expectations and that we started from a super top. The exquisite attention, the fabulous evening menu... We will visit Almería and of course we will return next season. Congratulations on your great work and the fantastic cooking you do.
We had an amazing time at Vivac, it’s one of the best adresses in Sierra Nevada. The courses were complex, flavourful, intricate and in good portions. We had the tasting course there which was just perfect after our long day. Plus the staff is super friendly, if you have a free evening, I highly recommend you go !
The owner Luis makes you welcome from the start and it is clear he is an owner/host rather than paid staff. Warm welcomes, attention to detail and a varied and well executed menu. No one in our group had any complaints and left having had three courses when our stomachs said only one or two. It was that good.
