Coming back from Alicante and said to my friend“let’s see if there is anything near the beach here”.. and there was! 3or 4 restaurants so we went for this one. It was busy but spare tables , right in front of the beach. As it was gone 4 we chose an Italian cold meat platter for one and shared. There was more than enough for us too, there was fresh warm bread and olive oil and it was absolutely delicious! We had a beer to wash it down and we were sated! The cold meat was fresh (not packets and the taste was sublime the platter was decorated with raisins and almonds and a grating of truffle.. must admit I thought we were going to be ripped off but they charged us only for the one meal we had o...
This is a lovely restaurant, just off the beach. Service is friendly, and the owner is very welcoming. The food is really superb classic Spanish rice dishes, superb alternatives, exquisite seafood, good wine. We enjoyed the rice menu a four course starter to share (manchego cheese iberico ham, an excellent salad, grilled octopus, and steamed mussels), then a rice dish of choice from a wide range, follwed by dessert and coffee. The octopus, by the way, was one if the most delicious sea foods I can remember, suoerbly cooked and perfectly tender. Fir a special treat this restaurant is very highly recommended. We are looking forward to our next visit.
It was not a really nice experience. The personal was polite and the local was fancy, but that's all. The waiters were able just to speak Spanish, not any other languages, so it was really difficult to have a proper conversation. The Tuna arrived completely cold, not even a bit warm in the outside. And the Goat salad was all covered by honey, thing that was not specified in the menu, and the person that ordered didn't like.
El sitio está reformado moderno y agradable, no me parecen cómodos los bancos corridos, pero están de moda y al parecer nosmobligarorios. Comimos un arroz de carrilleras muy rico, con un fondo con sabor, de los que nos gustan. Sólo tengo una pega pequeña que poner, y es que el servicio se afana en retirar las bebidas muy rápido, y resulta un poco agobiante, por lo demás bien.

Great dinner, fresh seafood and cooked to perfection! The octopus is, for sure, the best I can remember in years (many! White wine offered was good, although I missed to see the wine list. I would definitely recommend it. I will go back with my daughter who is keen on good quality restaurants.

Comida y trato espectaculares, muy recomendable. Algo ruidoso el interior pero nada que llegue a molestar. Precio elevado.
