El Catrin - Réserver une table

Went for lunch very recently. 23CHF for a drink, starter, main course and dessert isn't bad value for money at all in Geneva. The homemade agua fresca was really nice, as was the avocado/rice salad. The restaurant was very accommodating to vegetarians with the option of a mushroom filling for the tacos. There was ice cream and fruit for dessert. The food was all very fresh, and didn't at all resemble the tex-mex burrito shops around Geneva (which can also be very nice).The opening hours are a bit short during the day (12-2pm) but you'll be in and out before you know it.

Pour être allée plusieurs fois au Mexique et étant fan de cette cuisine, c'est un endroit incontournable à Genève. Tout y est, la déco, le personnel chaleureux, les margaritas (qui sont à tomber) et la cuisine qui est du 100% maison... un vrai délice!!! Gracias El Catrín!!Pensez bien à réserver car c'est très vite complet.

Un petit restaurant par la taille, au Paquis, accueil chaleureux, explication de la carte avec entrain.Quoi de mieux que de débuter par une margarita de qualité avec un trio de guacamole.Ensuite divers tacos, avec de fabuleuse farce maison.Un rapport qualité prix excellent.Bravo

I went to El Catrin on the recommendation of a colleague and was impressed. The decor is nice, the staff were friendly, and the food was great! I also found this restaurant to be reasonably priced (for Geneva standards).

Drinks are very expensive, but the food is just amazing. Have already recommended it to many friends. Wish it was bigger though!
