What truly makes it stand out is the consistent quality of the food, which is always delicious. I absolutely love their botana appetizer, the margaritas (I enjoy them frozen or on the rocks, no matter the flavor), and the scrumptious mahi mahi puffy tacos. The carryout experience has consistently been disappointing. I ordered takeout three times, and the first order was completely messed up. On my second visit, the taco salad had barely any lettuce, but the manager was understanding and issued a refund, so I appreciate him. On my last visit, I tried different dishes, but the portions were extremely small, almost like they were meant for children. Additionally, my meal was missing the tortilla wraps, which should have been included. Dine-in has always been a decent experience, but this carryout issue really needs to be addressed! This is an excellent restaurant with amazing food and outstanding service. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $20 to $30. I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5, while the service deserves a perfect 5. The atmosphere is also top-notch, earning a 5 rating. I highly recommend trying the Chips and Salsa, Beans and Rice, and the Burrito Dinner!
Received super uber salty salsa. Salsa Verde not typical tomatillo sauce, came with a lot of chopped jalapeno in it--too much heat, not enough good flavor. Just overall not too impressive for dinner for 3 knowledgeable customers who are very familiar with this cuisine.
