Visited this local restaurant for the first time today. Under new ownership. Met the owners, very friendly and nice. Order two plates of birria and a few quesatacos to go. Plate came with your choice of birria along with rice, beans, salsa, some consume and a side of tortillas. Very tasty. The quesatacos ? are really good. Basically replacing the tortillas with grilled cheese filled with birria and a tasty sauce. If looking for some good birria locally, give them a try.
Very disappointed and lost of quality control from El Chivo. I ordered 4 birras of chivo on August 1,2021 and it was the most disappointing birra I have ever had. The chivo meat was as chewy as beef jerky and just disappointing. Not only was it distasteful but it was also mixed in with beef. Chivo and Res is a different meat that why we ordered birra de Chivo. One Star for El Chivo . Eat at your own risk
This place was reccomended by friends and family and once I tried it I kept coming back, even if I don't live in the area. The birria is amazing but the rest of the menu is also delicious. I come have menudo any chance I get on Sunday mornings or on my way home from work I get a torta de asada, a few tacos de al pastor and some carne asada fries for my daughter.

I discovered my new favorite spot for birria de Chivo con Consome. The goat meat was tender and the consome was packed with flavor.
Birria has good flavor but you will get more bones than meat. Def not worth the price for bones
