"If they're in season, you absolutely must have the grilled artichoke appetizer. The salt and dipping sauce are the perfect flavor enhancers. I warn you, the steak portions are HUGE! Have an appetite or share your entree, otherwise be prepared for leftovers. The wine list has a good enough range to satisfy everyone's taste and budget."

Based upon its nearly perfect rating, I was expecting a superior dining experience. What we received was something far more expensive and far less satisfying that the other reviews would suggest.Let's start with the waiter, He was poorly trained, knew nothing about the wine list, and committed three unpardonable sins: first, he included the tip without asking if we approved. In Colombia the "propina" appears on the credit card printout and every waiter is supposed to ask you if it is permissible to include this service charge with the final total. Our waiter did not ask; I guess he assumed he had earned it. He hadn’t, and the reason our waiter had not earned a tip leads me to his second unpa...

I had the baby beef with Asparagus (nice and crispy) ($12). Very good My wife had a special, for 49,000 based on the waiters recommendation. Not good, too fatty. We sent it back once, thinking it wasn't cooked enough. Still horrible. She barely touched it. Clearly unhappy, but the staff avoided the conversation. Congratulations... You ripped us off on a steak, we will never be back again If this is typical, they'll be out of business within six months.

We went to the Poblado branch. The service left too much to desire. I want to point that the name of the restaurant says " El Correo Carne Y VINO". Our waiter could not tell us anything about the wine they were serving "blank look when I asked the type of grape". Also the waiter included the service without asking us and charged us in US currency!!. My husband's steak was undercooked and my tuna was dry and tasteless. Needless to say never again.

Three of us had the Argentina skirt and one the traditional - each of them were just too tough even for skirt - unfortunately what was there in toughness was not made up for in tastiness - so I'm really not sure what went wrong but I certainly wouldn't recommend this place - on the plus - the atmosphere was good and the staff pretty friendly
