El Coto De Antonio

Suggested by our hotel, we went there on a week night and a little early in the evening. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so we were a little worried about our choice. We quickly found out that we had found a hidden gem. The special for the night was a roasted pork leg. My husband chose that and said it was the best roast pork he has ever had. (This says a lot, considering he has been on a World Championship bbq team. He talked about the meal for days to the point where it became a joke with my family. We found the food here to be traditional Spanish meals.

Awful. Worst meal in Tenerife for 20 years. Tough steak served cold. Fish on cold plate. No one else in restaurant on Wednesday night. No ambiance.

Who can say no to cheeky Nando's? Certainly not me! It is such an easy option when you can't be bothered rustling up a meal.

Oh Nando's, if only you were on the west coast in the states, you'd put El Pollo Loco out of business.

I would highly recommend eating here as the food is cooked to perfection.
