El Cranc - Réservation de table

I can see a few negative reviews here about el cranc , I’ve just come back after 7 years away from altea and firstly I’d like to say that whenever I think of Altea I think of the setting on the beach at el cranc , its The first thing that comes to mind . Has the prices gone up maybe yeah , has the food and menu changed maybe a bit yeah . Are the staff all different and change of owners yes they are . Question is will I go back and the answer is yes I will Always come back here . I understand not everything’s perfect , but it’s el cranc an Altea institution still going strong . So it has to be a 5/5 .

El sitio es bonito y con bonitas vistas, pedimos una ensalada de burrata y sardinas ahumadas, pero nos pareció más una ensalada de burrata con lechuga, tenía solo una sardina partida en 4, por el precio que es... Madre mía qué fuerte, el arroz con rape, almejas y ajetes es muy bueno eso si, pero los precios me parecen demasiado altos por lo que es. el servicio bastante bueno. Tiene aparcamiento, otro punto positivo, hay cosas para mejorar sobre todo las cantidades aunque son de buena calidad los productos.

Fantastic location. Staff /server very knowledgeable and recommended dishes. However is extremely overpriced, disappointing that we were charged over 6 euro for bread tomato dip !!! In many restaurants bread is an accompaniment served free! Equally were charged for vegetable accompaniment with main course of sole, which was was 22 euro .. bit much that fish alone was 22 then veg added extra then fries extra !!! Had enjoyable evening but value for money was poor. Very overpriced.

La comida está rica.. pero ya no es lo que era.. Pedimos arroces, fidegua y estan bien. El sitio es espectacular porque estas comiendo a borde del mar. El servicio fue bastante malo sw le olvido un plato de la comanda, se le pidió con ensalada y lo trajo con patatas fritas.. sirven el vino como si fuera agua... Por el .precio que pagas, esperaría otro servicio Réservez une table maintenant

Una experiència espectacular amb uns plats increïbles, l’arròs amb rap, almejas i alls tendres es impressionant !!! 100% A spectacular experience with incredible dishes, the rice with monkfish, clams and tender garlic is impressive!!! 100

El sitio está ubicado en un lugar inmejorable, frente al mar. El servicio muy bien, amables los chicos. La comida bastante variada y para beber hay variedad. Precios algo altos.

Restaurante con vistas espectaculares. La comida es de calidad y está bien. Sin embargo, se nota que pagas de más por las vistas. Entendible pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta.

Cenamos estupendamente. Siguiendo las indicaciones del camarero. Estuvo súper pendiente de todo. La comida muy buena. Repetiremos Réservez une table maintenant

Los arroces bien,pero los entrantes escasos y caros.Me falta el arroz con bogavante
