We are working our way along the Almoradi `route gastronomica' and our second restaurant was El Cruce. The venue looks very attractive from outside, in a modern traditional Spanish way. Inside lots of pictures on the walls, flowers and crisp white table cloths. We were seated the smallest of 3 rooms, ours with 4 tables, the second about 6 and the 3rd for large gatherings. We were given English translations of the menu and chose, house salad, Iberian Ham and Caramelized ox-tail. They were all quite tasty. For mains we had, rack of lamb, solomilo and duck breast. All came with french fries and small vegetables. Our friend told us, it was the best, most tasty, rack of lamb he had ever eaten. Th...
