What a treat! I'm not hungry at all after my visit to Famous Burrito—I’m completely stuffed! The tacos, burritos, and enchiladas were incredibly delicious. I had a 3-taco dinner with al pastor, pollo, and puerco, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chile relleno was also fantastic, and I savored every sip of the homemade horchata. If you're in the Hoffman Estates/Bartlett area and love great food, you absolutely must stop by Famous Burrito!
Good tacos anyway! The lines can be on dollar Tuesdays Thursdays, maybe Saturdays I'm not completely sure if it's dollar tacos on Saturdays) but they're pretty fast either way. The only thing that surprised me is that they calculate you for limes!!! and they give you still very thin slices so conscious if you like lime on your Mexican food.
I had the best veggie burrito I've ever tasted across the street. Wow! Once I took a bite, I couldn't stop eating it. I just happened to stumble upon the place and saw the name, which perfectly captures what they offer. I will definitely be back when I'm in Chicago!
I've been eating at El Famous for over 20 years. I recently returned from New York to stop in at their Glendale Heights restaurant and got the classic steak burrito. Perfect tasted like it always did. Thanks so much for the gustatory pleasure! Réservez une table maintenant
I tested the steak burrito. The steak was tender and not chewable. I added some avocado to my burrito. Overall, the taste was good and it definitely filled me. Great experience and will return.
