Having visited the Sephardic center earlier in the day, I thought it would be interesting to try some Sephardic food for dinner. I quite enjoyed the meal. The servers were very professional, and the flavors were quite distinctive. I did not order a menú, so I picked a Segovian/Castilian starter and a Sephardic main. The peppers stuffed with duck and a cherry sauce were quite good. I ordered three--could have probably been OK with just two if I'd wanted to go a bit lighter, but one would not be enough. For my main, I did the timbal of turkey in wine sauce. On the one hand, it was a bit drier than expected, but it was very flavorful, and the dryness ended up marrying nicely with the wine sauce.
