Having a dinner at the top of a volcano was interesting enough for us to plan as a treat for one of the days while in Olot. We are a family of 5, with kids aged 9, 8 and 4. It happened that we arrived as a group of VERY hungry people and were not prepared for a degustation of local delicacies. After eating 5 different meals from the main menu, I am happy to say these were the best dishes we had during our 3 weeks of vacation in Catalunya. The chicken wings, the duck breast, the steak and the lamb were all tender, tasty and heavenly combined with sauces, herbs and potatoes. The mushroom risotto was also delicate. The best meal we've had through whole vacation in Spain and France. Great service, perfect place and view on Olot. We've had 5 different main courses and everything was delicious and perfect, professionaly served. Additionally, there's a nice easy walk around the volcano crater with beautiful views on whole town. Prices very friendly, especially comparing to other good restaurants and the best quality of home made food with local wines and beer.
The restaurant is situated on top of the volcano mountain. The views from the terrace are amazing.We went there for a drink during the day and came back for a dinner couple days later. Food was really,really good. I had tasting menu for €30 and it was really good value for money. The lovely manager was very welcoming and professional. We had a great candle lit dinner overlooking the Olot town. Very highly recommended
