We like eating at the bar but unfortunately, the restaurant offers only table service. I would give El Gaucho five stars if it wasn't for the very rude service. I'm an American expat from San Francisco Bay Area and I currently live in Graz, Austria. I have been to Argentina and my best friend is Argentinian so I have high expectations from an Argentinian restaurant that makes you pay an arm and a leg for their food. First of all, service was TERRIBLE. We had a reservation yet we still had to wait 15+ minutes for our table. The waiters and especially the waitress were very rude, uninterested and indifferent. Our experience at this restaurant was very mixed . We were guided to an outdoor table and the ambiance was pleasant, slightly upscale and somewhat lively on a Sunday evening. Service was very friendly ,however when we asked for a cocktail menu they announced that the bar was down due to maintenance and they had no liquor as a result, only wine. We then ordered soups , I was slightly disappointed that the baked oxtail soup didn 't contain actual oxtail pieces but dumplings . ' We ordered a T bone steak steak to share topped with truffle butter .the second disappointment was the steak which was not at all cooked to proper doneness (we had ordered medium rare , instead it was served medium well...
War das erste Mal in diesen Restaurant, da ich auf Geschäftsreise bin und in der Stadt ein passendes Restaurant gesucht habe. Sehr nettes Personal und zuvorkommend. Fragen immer wieder nach ob alles in Ordnung ist und geschmeckt hat. Das Essen ist einfach der Hammer und ich kann dieses tolle Restaurant nur empfehlen Schon alleine der Appetizer war eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion und der megafeine Rijoa dazu einfach unbeschreiblich Alles total frisch! Sehr tolles und sehr schönes Restaurant! Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Wenn man was bemängeln kann, was aber nur meine Persönliche Meinung ist das wir beim Aperol mit einem Papier Strohhalm getrunken haben. Ich mag es aus Glas Strohhalmen zu trinken. In anderen Restaurant bekommt man das auch so. Aber trotzdem 5 Sterne weil es einfach top war.
Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen war spitze. Die Preise sind bestimmt im oberen Bereich angesiedelt, die Qualität passt aber. Hübsche Lokalität, teilweise etwas laut.
Ausgezeichnetes Steak und tolle Bedienung Starter und Dessert fallen in der Preis Leistung zu den fabelhaften Hauptgängen etwas ab, daher der 1 Stern Abzug.
