El Greco - Réserver une table

Durch eine Weihnachtsfeier führte mein Weg zum El Greco. Samstagabends um 18 Uhr, das Lokal füllte sich stetig, für später also lieber reservieren. Das Restaurant liegt mitten im Industriegebiet, ohne Auto also schlecht zu erreichen. Es sieht von außen aus wie eine Lagerhalle. Und das ist es auch, ein sehr großes Lokal. Wie ich finde untypisch für einen Griechen. Recht kahle Wände, abgesehen von den Lampen und Spiegel. Ein paar Balken und Bögen, es soll ein Marktplatz angedeutet werden, auf dem die Tische und Stühle stehen. Die Stühle sind echt bequem, schwer und dick gepolstert. Dazu eine Tischdekoration, die auch einen edlen Anstrich verleiht. Bekannte haben mit Aussagen wie z.B. riesige Portionen natürlich die Erwartungen hochgeschraubt.Naja. Los ging es mit einer Vorspeisenplatte für 5 Personen. Peperoni, Schafskäse, Pilze, Bohnen, Tintenfischringe usw. In Ordnung. Brot gab es im Körbchen dazu. Das Hauptgericht hat mich dann doch enttäuscht, gemessen an obigen Vorschußlorbeeren. Der typisch griechische Salat, der zum Gericht gehört, war kleiner als bei anderen Lokalen. Auf dem Hauptteller dann vier kleine Rouladen, die sparsam mit Schafskäse gefüllt waren,dazu ein Häufchen Reis. Zwei Rosen Blumenkohl mit einem Klecks Soße. Ich habe extra kleine Fleischstücke geschnitten, um länger etwas davon zu haben. Für 16 Euro zu teuer! Ganz abgefahren fand ich die drei Spritzer Schokolade im leeren Eck des Tellers. Zuviel perfektes Dinner gesehen oder einfach was gebraucht, um den Teller zu füllen?! Unpassend. Geschmacklich in Ordnung. Natürlich war noch Platz für einen Nachtisch. Ein Schokoladenbecher wurde es. 4 Kugeln Vanille mit eifrig Schokososse drüber und drunter. Leider Schüttelsahne ganz oben drauf. Insgesamt nichts besonderes. Das Personal war freundlich.

Through a Christmas celebration, I took the way to El Greco. Saturday night at 18:00, the place was constantly filled, so for later rather booking. How I find untypical for a Greek. Right bare walls, apart from the lamps and mirrors. A few bars and arches, there should be a marketplace where the tables and chairs stand. The chairs are really comfortable, heavy and thick padded. A table decoration that also gives a noble color. Well-known people have naturally made expectations with statements like huge portions. Well. There was an appetizer for 5 people. Peperoni, sheep cheese, mushrooms, beans, squids etc. All right. There was bread in the basket. The main court then disappointed me, measured by the above-mentioned Pre-Committee Sires. The typical Greek salad belonging to the farm was smaller than other locals. On the main plate then four small roulettes, which were filled sparingly with sheep cheese, a piece of rice. Two roses of cauliflower with sticky sauce. I cut extra small pieces of meat to have a little longer. For 16 euros too expensive! I found the three splashes of chocolate in the empty corner of the plate. Too much perfect dinner seen or just what needs to fill the dish?! Inappropriate. Tasteful. Of course there was room for a dessert. It became a chocolate cup. 4 balls vanilla with eager chocolate sauce over and under. Unfortunately shake cream up. Nothing special. The staff was friendly.
