Great prices in their bakery, I got three decent sized pastries for $3.50.I do plan on revisiting their restaurant. My first pass, I wasn't pleased, unfortunately. I do not recommend their nachos. My buddy got their tacos, and those were a lot better. The food took around 10-12 minutes for both of our food to be served.It is an authentic Hispanic Mexican market. The food is more or less but my curiosity is because they don't like to use avocado. It seems that avocado is the kryptonite of this restaurant. Every time I ask about avocado they tell me “we don't work with avocado.” I don't know what the fear is, a good cook doesn't wrinkle. The food is meh but my biggest concern is their refusal to work with avocados. Every time I ask for avocados their response is always “we don't work with avocado”. It's like avocado is their kryptonite. I don't know what their fear of working with avocados is. A good cook would work with avocado.
This establishment is one of the least desirable places to visit. The owner is aggressive and disrespectful towards customers, making it feel quite unsafe. It's concerning enough that law enforcement should be alerted about the activities happening here, as the hiring practices seem to involve individuals who may not be complying with the law. Immigration authorities should definitely look into this location.
It's a decent place, and I appreciate that it's close to where I live, but the prices are a bit steep! They're around 25% higher than what you'd find at La Loma. Aside from that, the bakery is pretty good, but I'm not a fan of their restaurant food. Overall, it's okay. I do like that it's not as crowded as La Loma, but I can understand why that might be the case.

I go here on my work lunch from time to time and the food is always great. Today I had El Platillo Steak and Shrimp. Everything was great, you need to check this place out. The market is awesome
Spanish could be helpful. Parking: Plenty of spaces available. Kid-friendliness: Excellent - my kids love the tamales! We’ll definitely drive here just for them!!!
Place my order on the phone at 10:30 am asked if it can be ready by 11:30. When I got there still had to wait another 7 minutes which cut into my lunch.
