What a pleasant surprise. I don't usually like going to new places when I'm in a rush for lunch, but this was a great decision. The inside is pretty small, so you have to get there expecting to wait unless you're lucky enough to snag a table. (We were lucky and got a table. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. They really wanted to make sure you enjoyed your experience. We started with the fish ceviche which came with some sweet potatoes. It was very tasty. All the items were extremely authentic and delicious. After that we followed it up with the go-to Peruvian dish lomo saltado. As I entered, I was greeted by the cashier and the cook. They were empty at the time. I looked at the menu board, then the cashier showed me the regular menu to make the choice easier.I bought a fettuccine dish with steak, and a whole chicken meal with salad and fries.The fettuccine was well sauced. Very creamy and flavorful. You can definitely taste the delicious yet light Mexican style cheese in it. The steak was overly salted, but tender, cooked properly at a medium rare as requested.The chicken was delicious, but again, overly salted as well, but amazing and worth trying, especially if you like it well seasoned. The food was disappointing. We ordered papas with the yellow sauce, which turned out to be very watery and didn’t have the flavor of Aji or the cheese typically used. For $10, we received only four small pieces of potato, a quarter of an egg, and one olive, which felt like a poor value. We also ordered two steak plates and yucca. The steak had a lot of fat and tasted like a lower-quality cut, even though it was well-marinated. The only redeeming item was the green pasta with white rice. Additionally, the restaurant was severely understaffed, with only one person handling everything.
The restaurant in Granada Hills is fantastic. The food is excellent, and while the prices are a bit high, it's definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly, and when you place an order over the phone, it's prepared promptly. I highly recommend this place! Réservez une table maintenant
