We often visited this place when we lived in a shaman. Grandpa's ham is the one that got us the most in Madrid during our years of stay (and that we met many good restaurants.) the other day we had the opportunity to return to the capital for a formality and the first thing I thought was to visit this restaurant again. We are happy to see the same waiters (super professional and friendly) and the food is still amazing! Grandpa's potatoes is unpredictable. we were surprised by some mussels that offered us as an appetizer. I hope I can come back soon!
Hoy he comido con un amigo y la verdad es que quedamos encantados, tanto por las sugerencias como por la calidad y los sabores de todo lo que hemos pedido (a la carta). Buen vino (sugerencia del restaurante) y de entrantes hemos pedido anchoas al salazón, jamón ibérico (dehesa de extremadura) y unos torreznos de soria y de segundos platos un solomillo plancha y un generoso rabo de toro. Todo magnífico y una excelente relación calidad-precio y atención personal. Sin duda merece la pena regresar
Sin duda a través de todo este tiempo que soy cliente de El Jamón Del Abuelo se ha convertido en una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en restaurantes de Madrid, y en particular de los de comida andaluza. Tal vez por su decoración, por su magnífica comida y sin duda por su entrañable servicio,el trato cordial, la afabilidad y disponibilidad de su personal lo que hace de este restaurante un punto de encuentro obligado para todos aquellos que aman el buen comer y sentirse como en casa.

Hacía tiempo que no probaba un bacalao tan rico. Lo hacen igual que en Casa Labra y el resultado es fantástico. El restaurante está totalmente ambientado al estilo patio andaluz. El servicio es muy bueno y los platos, aunque muy escasos (me refiero a los segundos), son excelentes. Yo pedí rabo de toro, una de sus especialidades: muy bueno.
