The mango ceviche was delicious, but the fajitas came warm.. not sizzling (the table nearby had sizzling fajitas though..? And it only came with a few measly pieces of steak, the first of which was mostly fat. My husband's taco came with almost an entire piece of garlic and onion skin inside and was *completely* inedible. Came here for our first anniversary and am pretty disappointed by the entire experience. Edit: also wasn't going to mention it in case he was new, but I just saw a year old review on here with the same experience from the same person- our server was practically throwing the food onto the table, slamming it down so that the juice of the ceviche nearly spilled out of the bowl...
Being of Mexican decent and a lover of all things Mexican food, I have never had any Cuban food before, so I knew I had to give this place a try, and man oh man am I glad I did. I have a terrible memory, so I can't remember what I ordered, but I did take a photo of it. Whatever this was, was amazing. Everything from the steak, to the beans was perfect. I ordered the steak medium rare, and it was actually medium rare. The beans were very flavorful and not dry, the rice was sweet and paired well with the steak. I was seated quickly, but it took around 15 minutes for someone to take my order. I understand that staffing might be limited, but two larger groups arrived after us and were served before us, probably due to their size. The food itself was decent; however, the birria consommé tasted like it came from a can. It resembled more of a soup filled with onions and cilantro. To make matters worse, it took about 10 more minutes for me to receive my bill, so I spent more time waiting than actually eating. On a positive note, the bathroom was very clean!
This restaurant is definitely worth the trip! We drive about 45 minutes to get here, and it's always worth it. The staff is exceptional and always greets us with a smile. We've had Michael as our server since our first visit, and he has been fantastic every time, so we always request him. The restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious, served in generous portions at reasonable prices. If you visit on a Wednesday, don't forget to ask about their chicken special! I would have liked to give a better review but there are things that can be improved... The place since you see it on Google draws attention. It is a large establishment with dining inside and seating outside. The concept, obviously, is more Mexican than Cuban. The decoration is very colorful but the restaurant has that old smell. And the waitresses uniform is HORRIBLE!!!
Took my farther who was visiting from Pennsylvania ???? The food was very delicious and the service was very welcoming all the employees were so nice from the time we entered the door to the time that we left... Our server name was Jason and he was great ???? can't wait to take my mother when she comes to visit I'm sure she would love it just as much as my father did...

The service was excellent—very attentive without being pushy. The portion sizes were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The view of the ocean is stunning!
