El Local Vaison la Romaine

Located in the medieval city, this tiny bar/cafe has well-made delicious food served with the excellent local wine (cotes de Rhone) in a creative, unique setting. They have a small, but tasty menu, featuring charcuterie and Provençal specialties. The hot dog looked fantastic! The ambience...is totally relaxed and fits right in with the color and atmosphere that surrounds it. The music is good, too! Ignore the touristy restaurant and pizza place nearby and pull up a child's chair to a genuine find!

just don't bother. the workers claim they are coming to get their order after 20 minutes, but that is a lie because they have to ask for their order. to boot the cocktails are pathetic and cheap. to avoid all costs.

frédéric, the owner is cool professional (on the picture). it is a beautiful place next to the Roman bridge and by el local terrace you can see and be seen. always a great music and ambiente

drive 35 km to see this place. armed and a note on the door said to call a number and the staff would be 5 minutes. we called and no one took off. also for French norms, this is really bad

was a few times about the years best mojito this side of the atlantic, chilled vibes and atmos to supplement this.
