El Manantial Tacos offers some of the best tacos in Berkeley, and their Happy Hour specials are an excellent value. The staff is friendly, and the toppings and sides are delicious. I highly recommend this spot. Ideal for takeaway lunch, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5. Must-try dishes include the Cabeza and Carnitas Tacos, along with the Grilled Onions.

I felt disappointed with the burrito bowl I ordered here. It was mostly rice—about 80%—with 10% beans, and just a small amount of meat and pico de gallo. Both the beans and rice were bland and lacked flavor. I haven’t tried anything else from this place, so I can’t speak for the other menu items. The service was friendly and good.
