We were greeted by welcoming staff and seated, the views are amazing from the rooftop restaurant with a nice balcony, you can appreciate the Guadiana river and lights of the city. The atmosphere is relaxed, there is many dishes to choose from but the “plumas” dish was exceptional. All the entres and main dishes that we tasted in the various days were meticules prepared and of high gourmet quality. Definitely an experience and the chef and staff deserve an ovation. The quality of the food and the price are well placed and not expensive at all, meticules thought also I would say. I can compare this restaurant to other renamed placed, the quality is high but the price is not.
So this is the only restaurant serving the NH Gran Hotel Casino in Barajos (which has 5 stars, no less. And it may (or may not open for dinner at 20:30 promptly in the evenings. Even for Hotel guests. When it does, the food is really quite good, very reasonable value. Plus you will enjoy the added benefit of eating in a near-deserted restaurant, as most other Guests will have long given up waiting for dinner.....
The service at the restaurant and at the hotel was excellent. Polite and nice. View of the river is good. On the other side we went there for the very good reviews. The salad was very simple, salmorejo not very tasty, yogurt soup was not our cup of tea. The meat wasn’t good at all. Sorry to say that! Price was 44 euros total (not expensive but didn’t like it)
We were staying at the NH Gran Hotel Casino Badajoz and had our evening meal in their restaurant. Great views. You could eat on the outside terrace if you wished. Good food, reasonably priced. Worth a visit
