El Moro De Venezia

Expectations were high given Tripadvisor ratings (almost 5) but we were not overly surprised. Being a family with 2 youngsters the starter (tomato soup and Italian starter) were perceived good but not exceeding. Pizza's for 4 were nice, good and well dressed. Basically good. Desserts (nutella pizza and a local dish) appeared to be surprising from the menu but on average again were good. Waiting time between courses was generally too long (especially with young kids) while impression was that staff focussed on take away menus rather than inside guests. Overall impression, solid, nice, good prices but below expectations raised on earlier rankings. Than again, no reason to avoid while looking for a decent pizza.

Visited March 4th based on TA reviews. Wasn't disappointed. Typical Italian with small dining area. Food good, wine good, service good. Just what we needed after a days skiing.

Our party of 8 was welcomed warmly and service was swift and unobtrusive. Our meals were all very good in terms of quality and value for money.

Ate in one night and had take away on the last night of our trip. Both times pizzas were delicious :)
