We came here after reading good reviews from Tripadvisor. First impression was the place could be good as it was packed with locals majority were young people. But our good impression only lasted after we had our first tapas. Wine was ****. I had Tinto de Verano from loads of Tapas bars and I couldn't finished it. The red wine used was maybe the cheapest you could get from the supermarket and even with the help of the lemonade it still tasted awful. Yes you can choosw the tapas but they were just junk sandwiches, etc. If you want to eat cheap and junk, then this is better fromMacDonalds!
I have stayed in Granada for 3 months and I was a regular guest in El Nido del Buho together with my friends for reasonable prices and big portions of food and drinks. The only problem we encountered was the small number of tables and chairs so we had to wait for more than 30 minutes to get the free table. I think the owner of the bar should somehow find a way to enlarge the terrace. I am sure the big terrace would be full as well. My warm recommendation.
I used to visit this place a lot few years ago.I came back this month and I can say that this place is still great. First of all,the food is really tasty and the portions are very big.They have delicious olives and wine.And the staff-they are so cheerful,friendly and helpful even when the place is really crowded. If you are looking for a typical spanish bar with tasty (and cheap!! food,this is a good choice.
Buenas tapas, grandes, gran variedad. Calidad/precio bien. Bar típico de la zona, Plaza de Toros, estudiantil, pero con toda clase de público.
