My wife and I have a few places we hit on Fridays or weekends around the region, but when we want good, solid food with friendly, professional people on a weeknight when neither of us wants to cook, this El Nopal is our go to. We always go to the bar area, and Jerry or his folks always take excellent care of us. The atmosphere is great, the staff is professional, the food is always served fast and hot, and the service is second to none. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area as a great lunch or dinner destination. PS. The Apollo Hawiana is a new menus item and it’s excellent. I've been going there ever since they opened this location abt every week. I've only had 2 things I didn't like, my fault tried something new. I love these people, we are treated like family. Just returned from there. I have never had bad food, always fast and warm. The margaritas are the best I've had locally. Service is top notch. If you haven't been, try them out. Even had family birthdays party's there. Great job people. Vegetarian options: Have,vegan granddaughter who is with us there frequently Parking: Always plentiful Kid-friendliness: Have taken great grandchildren there and they had a great time, menu selection for them is good.
I had a mixed experience at el nopal, Jeffersonville. Ordered Fajita and it was just ok. The portion size was way too much for an individual.The table size was compact and could barely fit our team. Otherwise, service is good. They were quick to bring food and my friends praised Tilapia dishes. Parking: More than 30
Look I eat fine dining and I’m not an alcoholic ok? But this place has the BEST margs, great food and very quick service like people should shadow this restaurant to learn how a great place operates. We come here at least twice a month and havent had a bad experience yet. Their birria tacos are SO GOOD

We asked for a fresh basket of chips because the ones we got were hard as a rock. The waiter got very offended and said they were fresh. He did not bring any more chips. The steak fajita was ok. We'll go to the Clarksville location if we eat at El Nopal again.
We walk in, and everyone knows our order. Can 't beat that. Plus, the views of the Ohio River!.
