And when I went up there I had two orders to pick up and had to stand there for 15 minutes with the kids while my first order sat on the table cold till I got the second order finally. We visited El Nopal after a wedding rehearsal with a party of 15. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. We had to ask for silverware only after everyone had received their dinners. Two of the dishes came with the wrong meat and sauce, and after sending one back three times, we ultimately decided to eat anyway. The person who returned their meal ended up dining alone while the rest of us were already finished. I accidentally ended up at this Mexican restaurant because my GPS directed me here instead of another place with a similar name, and I'm so glad I did! The outside could use some sprucing up, but the interior has a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The tables and restrooms were clean, and, more importantly, the food was delicious! I ordered the combo fajita, which was great, though I wish the beef had been sliced instead of shredded, as that's the traditional way to serve it. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I plan to return soon!
I absolutely love this place! The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and our drinks were always topped up. The staff was friendly, and the food was served hot, quickly, and deliciously. I will definitely keep coming back and will recommend it to my friends and family. I had the beef burrito Gigante, and my wife had the special nachos, and both were fantastic!

El Nopal offered excellent food and fast service. The only issue we encountered was when we requested extra queso; what we received was questionable. You can be the judge of whether this qualifies as extra queso!
