I found this place while walking around my hotel with my mom, looking for a place to have dinner. Decided to try the banderita enchiladas. They were delicious and the portions were so generous I had to take my leftovers to the hotel and finish them the next day. The staff is very friendly, the ones I interacted with were bilingual. The atmosphere of the place is very colorful and welcoming. It was overall a great experience I had as a tourist! I recommend this place 100%.
El Paso Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic choice. The decor transports you back to the time of Davy Crockett and Santa Anna’s battle at the Alamo. The staff are courteous and attentive. The highlight was definitely the food. It came out on sizzling hot plates, so hot that our waiter had to use a mitt to serve it. Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived quickly. The quesadillas, tortillas—both soft and hard—and my wife’s vegetarian meal were all excellent!
El Paso Mexican Restaurant is an excellent choice. The decor looks like you just stepped back in time to when Davy Crockett and Santa Anna fought it out at the Alamo. The staff is polite and helpful. The best part was the food. It was served on hot plates,our waiter had to use a mitt not to get burned. It was cooked right and came quickly. Quesadillas, tortillas, soft hard andmy wife’s vegetarian food all turned out good!!
Food is mediocre (salty meat and they went overboard with onions and cucumbers for the cocktail), drinks are ok, price for what you receive is overpriced...service was delayed due to short staff however my experience was based off what I experienced withmy server who seemed to prefer Caucasian customers over her African American customers. The food was mediocre, with the meat overly salty and the cocktail containing an excessive amount of onions and cucumbers. The drinks were decent, but the prices were too steep for the portion sizes. The service was disappointing, as the server appeared to favor white customers over African American ones, which was both unwarranted and unacceptable. We will not be coming back to this restaurant.
staff friendly and professional. food was fresh and had really good flavor. salsa was good, had just the right amount of kick and flavor balance. lots of items on the menu to choose from. service was quick. prices normal for the area. parking wasn't that hard to find when we went. place was clean and organized. overall a good first experience at thislocation and is recommend it.
The service and atmosphere were quite good. However, the tamale was very dry and crumbly, and while the salsa tasted okay, its spice level was almost like ketchup. I’m interested in coming back to try other menu items. If the owner sees this, please let me know which dish you recommend the most—I’d love to give this place 5 stars.

This was an amazing experience with very attentive staff, amazing food, and killer drinks. The decor was totally unique at each sitting area with beautiful chairs, murals, and sculptures. The menu was very diverse and the portions generous and well worth the price. They take cash and cards without issue.
