I enjoyed some great chicken, but I was disappointed that they stop serving customers by 2 PM. Additionally, there’s no indoor dining available; it’s only a drive-thru service. I found the staff to be rather rude; one employee was yelling out the door, and she definitely needs better training in customer service—there’s no need to shout at customers. The restaurant could also use some cleaning; the floors were dirty, and there was litter that needed to be taken care of. On top of that, the ice machine was out of order, and they had run out of several beverages. Despite these issues, the chicken was genuinely delicious.
I recently tried the Pollo bowl for the first time and was very disappointed. There was barely any chicken, and even though I asked for no rice, there were hardly any beans or sauce either. Unfortunately, I can't go back to complain because I've had surgery recently. The Horchata was also too thick, as if the water component of the machine wasn't working properly. My main concern with the Pollo bowl is: where's the chicken?! I wish I could share a picture of it. I visited the Whittier location on Washington Blvd.
The street tacos are overpriced. Each shrimp taco only contains two shrimp, and the tacos themselves are poorly assembled, making the food look unappealing. Additionally, the customer service was lacking. The lady at the drive-thru was difficult about giving me extra salsa. I ordered a taco platter along with a chicken avocado burrito, and I was shocked to find that it only came with one small red and one small green salsa! I ended up using both on just one taco!
Good chicken but turning customers by 2pm .no inside dining just drive thru,..people ?.They we're yelling out the door (employee) very rude she needs to be trained on customer service no need to yell back at customer. They never offered me any condiments like onions or cilantro. When I requested them, a woman who had just walked in lowered her mask and started wiping her nose with her hand, and she didn’t wash her hands afterward. Naturally, I didn’t take the condiments. Fortunately, the other girl, who appeared clean, served me my food.
They never ask if you want any condiments like onions or Zilantro when I asked about the condiments, the woman who went down in her mask and began to wipe her nose with her hand and not her hands. Of course I didn't take the contingencies and thankfully the other girl who looked clean served me my food.
We love El Polo Loco. I have moved somwhere there is none so when we come down to visit we gave to get that tostad taco salad. The celatro is so good. We went to this plave where I live called costa vida and it just wasnt the same. Anyways there is a great selection at El polo loco
I frequently receive incorrect orders at this restaurant, and some of the staff can be rather unfriendly. Additionally, the food doesn't taste the same as at other Pollo Locos locations. I highly recommend going to a different location; it’s definitely worth it. Réservez une table maintenant
The drive-thru experience was fast, friendly, and precise! I ordered the chicken tostada, which was delicious! However, I was disappointed to find that it didn't come with avocado, even though the picture shows it with avocado. There was none in the tostada.
