Alberto (el Pollo) has this talent for food (also for music, nature and he's a showman). His dishes are very natural, surprising and delicious. A lot of vegetables but also some meat to finish it up. His desserts are very good. Has some surprising good wines but the wine list is really short. Don't expect big luxury, the restaurant is still a work in progress from the original truck washing centre it was. Be not scared. This is a place for those who really appreciate food and like to go out of the ordinary. We went there for my sister and my birthdays and enjoyed it a lot. This place is an amazing place to meet with some friends, business partners, a date, and even for the family. When you go to El Pollo Rock do not think that you have found your chicken spot. That is the name of the chef who is a very nice man. The staff is also great. Though what you may not know walking in is that this is a place for foodies. You will be stuffed until you cannot eat anymore and then fed some delicious house wine. The atmosphere is like a modern Brooklyn hipster apartment feel, which gives the impression of homemade dinning. The food is top notch hand picked by the chef, though the menu may change with the season, you are in good hands with El Pollo Rock.
The pollos' place is a quite unique restaurant. It has a fresh vision on what most trendy people is trying to find around. The environment is charming, relaxing but with a nice vibe and all commensals there start dinning at the same time. Thus, the owner and friend provide everyone with careful attention and sympathy. The food is excellent, plenty of flavors, ornaments and of course quality. Location is far from Murcia (10 min drive) but overall the experience is worth the ride. Ahhh, thinking on what you get the bill is quite fair. Highly recommended.
Este es un lugar de obligada visita en la ciudad , tanto el local como Alberto (el mismísimo Pollo Rockero) son una experiencia que hay que vivir. Hoy hemos pedido la hamburguesa trufada y la BBQ a domicilio , y todavía estamos flipando : el pan una delicia, la carne en su punto y sabrosa, y las salsas combinadas en unas proporciones demasiado perfectas, dejando sin oportunidad alguna al resto de hamburguesas del mundo. Gracias Pollo por alegrarnos la noche dominguera , eres un artista .
Volvemos al Pollo Rockero varios años después Nos atendieron con mucha simpatía. Servicio rápido. La música algo fuerte para mi gusto. Nos gustaron los entrantes. Sobre todo las rabas, espectaculares. Y acabamos con una Ti ha y una hamburguesa. Nos encantaron. Quizás exceso de salsas. Es imposible no mancharse al comerlas. Hemos salido muy contentos. Nos gusta el nuevo rumbo de este restaurante. Volveremos
Ya tenía ganas de venir a este restaurante de comida callejera, gran acierto, fuimos un día sin reservar y pillamos mesa por suerte, el local muy bien… callejero total, el servicio fue lo que peor vimos, tardaron mucho en traer la comida y cuando la trajeron fué casi de golpe sin espacios entre entrantes y plato principal, pero mereció ls pena, el secreto estaba espectacular
