I don't usually write reviews because I often see negative ones, but I felt this time I should make an exception. We ordered take-out tonight through their online system. It gave us an estimated wait time of an hour, but having worked in the food industry, I suspected it would actually be ready within the initial 30-minute prep window they mentioned. The hostesses were very friendly, and my food was well-packaged. They nearly got our entire order right, though they did forget the tortillas for my husband's fajitas. We really enjoy this restaurant and visit at least twice a week, often sitting near the manager. However, this past Saturday, our server mistakenly charged us twice due to confusion with the split check. Today, I spent half an hour showing them my bank statement as proof of the double charge. I also had a bank representative contact the manager, Gabriel, to explain that the bank would not issue a refund since it was an issue on their end. Despite all of this, I still haven't received the $22 refund. It’s been a very unpleasant experience, and I won’t be returning. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Every time we visit this restaurant, we are consistently amazed by the outstanding service. I came here last night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we had a wonderful time indulging in delicious food and drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the ceviche!
The food here is consistently excellent, and the service is always polite and friendly. I encountered an issue with my meal last night, but the staff managed it very professionally, which made me decide to stay. I will definitely return here again!

The Mexican food was great, and the service was excellent too! The portion sizes for the meals were generous. However, the prices seemed a bit higher compared to similar Mexican restaurants, and there were no lunch specials available.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Little Rock. There's no need to go anywhere else; it truly stands out compared to others in Central Arkansas. The prices, food, and atmosphere are all exceptional.
I absolutely love El Porton! They serve the best frozen margaritas, guacamole, cheese dip, and chicken fajitas! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help.
