We came there to spend a nice time, we had our drinks full, but we had to quickly leave because it could turn violent. If you want to have a great time, great food, great drinks and great hospitality without being in a tourist trap, see Marcia and Toni (wife and husband owners) at La Taverne Bar. You will leave happy, full and with money left in your pocket. A great experience!
What a great place. We came across La Taverne while visiting Geneva; this is not a typical tourist stop. It was amazing; our host was superb as was the food. I usually go to different restaurants while touring; this is the exception, on the return list.
We popped into this bar on the off chance for a drink on way back to our hotel. Stayed for a couple! Went back next night for a few more. Lovely little bar with a lovely friendly host and a nice, chilled atmosphere.

Tony was absolutely superb host and very kind. The prawns casserole is a must try. Not a typical tourist place but a hidden local gem. Visit to this place ended our trip on a never forgetting experience.

Polite and gentle owner. Interesting wine options. The atmosphere can be weird because of the proximity to the station. Worth a visit!
