This was the best meal we had in our 6 weeks on Tenerife. feel extremely lucky that this fabulous restaurant was open when the arrived here. The service was impeccable. Atmospheric interior with a live pianist at 5:30 on a Friday not 9 on Saturday!! And so to the food... From the warmest fluffiest homemade bread and amazing sauces, we ordered the Argentinian barbecue grill to share, and it was mouth watering even the herbs to sprinkle tasted fresh!! The lightest starter of deep fried cheese with a homemade blueberry jam, a delicious chocolate and almond cake, I'm probably the best espresso have had on the Island.... Amazing value you have got to go there! I cannot recommend this place highly...
TL;DR: just go and eat here. After visiting there the one question we had was, how on earth they only have 4.9 stars and not 5? We came in after a long and wet walk to a lovely decorated restaurant, and ordered 2 soups and 2 main courses. Everything was delicious. We thought to skip the bread, but the home-made sauces changed our minds. If you plan to order the regular burger, know it's pretty small, so order something extra with it. Also, the staff is wonderful and helpful with any food related questions (I managed to get a lactose-free meal).
Lovely place in a lovely town. Great quality of food, great ambience and great service as well. Well recommended. We had the fish of the day (cod) and Picaña (beef) with fresh vegetables from their own garden and potato chips. Both were excellent prepared. Together with some fresh green olives and fresh baked super soft bread with mojo. We very much enjoyed sitting there on their lovely terras which has a great view. Visiting Vilaflor is also well worth it.
we had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. the host are super friendly and helpful. all recommended were before place. eating is fresh, local and delicious. do not miss the dried goat cheese with jam! and the barbeque in Canarian style can really fill it! the local wee is fresh, fruity and they do not want it to end.
