El Requete Taperia

a young lady lured us in. we asked if they had gambas because we wanted to eat that. she said yes, we ordered verdejo wein, it was of very poor quality. the waiter came to take our order and he told us at the end, they didn't gamble. we said we would pay for the wein. the waiter returned and said they had did after all gambas. we told him we'd pay for our wine and we wouldn't order food. he accused us for a bottle instead of two glasses. we refused and went away. the manager followed us and called us tonto. we were given a bill for 2 glasses, paid and found a better place. Don't eat them here.

Super meal, fantastic value and served by three lovely helpful people David, Laura and Eli. Would thoroughly recommend, we had traditional food of the region as we love to try the local meals, but they also cater for people who want more traditional food,...all beautifully served and really tasty too, if you are passing through the town of Caseres do not miss this one, especially if you happen to be there for the Carnival/festival (3rd weekend Feb), loads going on through the town with colourful bands and dancers, as Arnold Schwarzenegger said we will return thank you El Requete

Places in ANY Plaza Mayor mainly are tourist traps. This place is no exception. Bad food at high prices. An unrecognizable Caesar salad (dressing was mayonnaise based) and paella cooked with yellow rice out of a box. Service lukewarm at best. Beware. The bread they...bring you automatically is not courtesy of the house. They do state it on the menu but unless you notice it, the maneuver seems designed to fool you into thinking it is complimentary. There are far too many outstanding restaurants in Caceres to drop your dime on this one. Avoid.

Excellent food at the best location in Plaza Mayor in beautiful Cáceres .... great service by Gonzalo, David and Geli...Don’t be fooled by the neighbouring restaurants... this is the place to go!

Amazing place with the best ibéricos of the area. The torta del cásar is a delicatessen that everyone should try. Lovely attention from the waitress Elisz and all the stuff.
