We ordered the Pork Belly Chicharron with Guacamole, Tacos Dorados, Beef Quesabirria, and Lamb Birria Tacos. Picking up the food was straightforward, but parking could be tricky, so it’s best to have someone who can hop out and grab the order. The restaurant has a dedicated pickup window, which made the process easy. The aromas were incredible, and we couldn’t resist opening something right away. Initially, I thought the Chicharron was a bit pricey, but it came in a generous take-out tray with three large slabs of pork belly that were perfectly meaty, crispy, and fatty. Hands down one of the best taco spots in the area. The food is amazing. The Birria tacos and consommé is off the charts. The salsa’s on the side also complement the food they serve. It’s takeout only and they have two windows but no entry to the store front building. It’s convenient for those walking(U street) but driving to pick your food up is a headache seeing the parking is scarce everywhere in that area. If you wanna sit down I believe they recently opened a new location in a food hall. Well worth it!

This might be one of the best birria tacos I've ever had. We order them from DoorDash one night a little after midnight, and they came piping, hot and ready to eat. There were many different options to choose from of different proteins but we wanted to keep it simple. The three tacos were more than enough for me, and kept me full all night. The cheese was so delicious and the flavors were packed in the consume. Definitely something I will grab again if I'm looking for late night tacos!

The long lines during lunchtime speak volumes about the quality of food at this restaurant. During my week-long stay in DC, I visited multiple times because the food was consistently wonderful and skillfully prepared. I particularly enjoyed the tacos and the Mexican soup, which struck the perfect balance of savory and spicy flavors. The Beef Birria tacos were outstanding, just like the ones I've enjoyed in Texas! They are lightly fried and come with fantastic chipotle sauce, lime, radish, and cucumber. They are also reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!

Absolutely amazing every time! The Mangonada is always a hit <3 and you can’t go wrong with their Birria. I've tried several meat options, and they’re all delicious, but my favorite has to be the Lamb Quesabirria.

The Beef Quesabirria tacos were delicious—plenty of meat in each one. Three tacos were more than enough for me. I would definitely order them again. The guacamole had a slightly salty taste, but it was fresh.

The beef Quesabirria was amazing. So good!!!! So many flavors and they packed my bag with plenty salsa. Guac was well seasoned as well.
